Was do put at ease with the care and attention shown by the staff.
I was put at ease and everything was clearly explained to me.
I was advised about my future appointments, so I was able to understand. I have never had such caring attention at hospital for some time. My thanks and appreciation to the staff.
You asked me if I have any of these conditions?
I was so grateful to the Dock Street centre because on the day I needed an appointment at my doctors, they were closed for staff training (?) and I was advised to go to Dock Street. Here I saw a temporary doctor (from Manchester) who sent me immediately for a blood test. It all took off from there and I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 2 weeks later. Since then I have attended Dock Street for blood tests, an ultra-sound scan, a DVT assessment and a blood thinning injection and have found the staff very friendly and helpful. I also always feel safe there (COVID wise) and am seen promptly. Altogether a brilliant service!
Excellent prompt attention to arrange for removal of stitches to be contemporaneous with a pre existing appointment for a PDA blood test.
I’ve had numerous back operations and all have failed
Recently had surgery for removal of a tumour.
Although the nurse that saw me was incredible friendly and helpful, making the experience significantly better, it was let down by extremely long wait times and a crowded waiting room. Due to the backlog of appointments running over an hour there were patients forced to stand due to all chairs being occupied. In an ongoing pandemic, despite restrictions being lifted, one might expected slightly greater care and attention afforded to risk minimisation from a health care establishment.
